MY REVIEW

Where to start with this book? First off, this book is marketed as a romance. In my opinion, it’s not a romance. It’s a book that has a romance in it, but the romance is not central to the plot despite the title and summary from the publisher. The little bit of romance we do get in the book is also pretty lackluster. Instead, I feel this book is more of a workplace drama and there isn’t anything wrong with that, but that’s really not how it’s marketing.

MY REVIEW

I’ve been really loving the Wallflowers series, but y’all, this one was not for me. I know that there are a ton of people who love this book and love St. Vincent, but I am not one of those people.

MY REVIEW

Veronica and Stoker are back for another adventure in the latest book in the Veronica Speedwell series! An Unexpected Peril was a delightful treat and really hit on all the features I love about this series from strong, unconventional female leads to an engaging murder mystery to impersonating royalty to a great romantic relationship. I truly loved every second of reading this and it might be one of my favorites in the series.

MY REVIEW

I’ve been putting off this review for over a week now as it’s hard to find the right words to describe why I loved this book. The Intimacy Experiment felt unlike any other book I’ve read before. Something about it just left a mark on me. Not only is it a great romance, but it is a great story about finding yourself and your community.

MY REVIEW:

Before even starting this book, I knew I was going to love it and I was so glad to be proven right. Lillian Bowman was my favorite Wallflower from the group we were first introduced to in Secrets of a Summer Night and I was so excited to dive into her story and watch her butt heads with Lord Westcliff. It Happened One Autumn was everything I wanted and more – truly a perfect enemies-to-lovers romance!

MY REVIEW

A Murderous Relation is Stoker and Veronica’s fifth adventure in the Veronica Speedwell series. While I love this series dearly, this is my least favorite in the series. Don’t get me wrong – I still really enjoy this book, but I also wanted more from it the first time I read it. On my second reread, I did grow to appreciate it a bit more, but I still think it’s the weakest book in the series thus far.

MY REVIEW

Despite being a historical romance fan, I’ve surprisingly read very few novels by Lisa Kleypas. After reading Then Came You and Dreaming of You and loving both of them, I decided to dive into some of her backlist, starting with the Wallflowers series.

MY REVIEW:

If you haven’t been able to tell yet, I love the Veronica Speedwell series with a passion! I feel like its a series that doesn’t get much hype, but it’s so good and I think everyone should read it! A Dangerous Collaboration is our fourth installment in the series and it is the one were all my dreams come true! Just kidding – but seriously this one finally, finally delivers on the slowburn romance hovering under the surface between Stoker and Veronica.
