Happy spooky month! I’m not huge into Halloween but I can appreciate the spooky themes and decorations.
I’ve been procrastinating on pulling together my TBR as I’ve been a very moody reader recently. I have a feeling that’s going to continue for most of October.
However, I do have a few book on my radar for this month. Here’s my small October TBR:
His Lady to Protect by Justine Covington
I already started this one and am liking it so far! A friend on Instagram recommended this to me as she knows the author so I’m glad I’m able to get to it.
An Impossible Impostor by Deanna Raybourn
Y’ALL! I got an ARC of my most anticipated 2022 read – the 7th book in the Veronica Speedwell series. I love this series so freaking much and am so excited to dive into this book! We’re also getting at least two more books after this one as Deanna Raybourn shared she’s signed a contract for book 8 and 9 recently. YAY!
A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole
I’ve had this book on hold for ages at the library but was never in the mood to read it. But I’m definitely in the mood for it now so will be checking this out soon.
Iced by Karen Marie Moning
After binging the first 5 books in this series, I’m read to dive into the second half. I’ve heard that reactions to this book are mixed so I’m a little hesitant to start this but I’m going in with an open mind.
Burn for Me By Ilona Andrews
This will be a reread for me as I’m doing a buddy read with my friend Meg on Instagram. I love this series so much and I’m excited to give it a reread (again!). I will say though, this cover is terrible. It hides such a great story though.
What books are you hoping to read this October?
