November 2021 TBR

October was a bit of a lackluster reading month for me, but I’m hoping I can make up for it in November, especially I’m not traveling for Thanksgiving. I’m also so close to hitting my reading goal for the year so let’s see if we can hit it in November!

I feel like I’ll continue to be a bit of a moody reader this month, but a lot of these books fit with the current reading mood. Here’s what’s on my to be read list:

An Impossible Impostor by Deanna Raybourn

I started this book in October, but am trying to read it slowly to really savor it. It doesn’t release until February 2022 and I know I’m going to have to wait more than a year for the next book in the Veronica Speedwell series so I don’t want to go too fast. I’m at the 50% mark of this already and am LOVING IT! I’ll definitely be finishing this in November as I’m knee-deep in the story now.

I’m hoping to continue my Immortals After Dark read this month! I currently have this one on hold at the library so we’ll see when it comes in as I am definitely dying to dive into it. We’ll see if we can read more than one book this month, but it will all be dependent on the library as I’m trying to not buy a ton of books at the moment.

I really enjoyed the first two books in The Dark Arts series and am looking forward to wrapping up the series with Sebastian and Cleo’s tale! Poor Sebastian has been through the wringer already in this series and I’m excited to see how all the final pieces come together.

Miss Moriarty, I Presume? by Sherry Thomas

I am a huge fan of the Lady Sherlock series and am looking forward to the sixth installment in the series. I might try to squeeze a quick rereading in before I read this, so we’ll see if I actually get to this in November or if it gets pushed to December, but I’m trying to be optimistic it will happen in November.

The Lady Gets Lucky by Joanna Shupe

First off, how gorgeous and hot is this cover?? This is how you do a romance cover! Now, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first book in The Fifth Avenue Rebels series but I’m really looking forward to the second book. I’ve seen some other reviewers have really enjoyed this one, so I’m optimistic this will be good! I like Kit a lot in the first book so cannot wait to see his story.

I totally meant to read this in October, but time got away from me. I think I’m a little hesitant to read book six in the Fever series as it was originally supposed to be just five books and Shadowfever wrapped up the original storyline so well. I’ve also heard some mixed things about the three books focused on Dani O’Malley so I think I subconsciously pushed off reading this last month. Hopefully, we’ll get to it in November.
