It pains me so much that I didn’t like this book. I was greatly looking forward to it as I adored Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series and was excited for her to write another musician hero. However, this book fell flat. This book was a bit of a nebulous meh.

I went into this book with zero knowledge of the plot as silly old me didn’t read the synopsis. Color me surprised that there was time travel in this book! Once the suspension of disbelief kicked in, I liked this book despite some of its flaws.

All the Duke I Need took me by surprise in the best way! I went into this book with no expectations but found it so cute and ended up loving it by the end. The romance was adorable, and I loved how Caroline Linden brought all the pieces together to solve for the lost heir to the Carlyle dukedom that has been central to the plot of the Desperately Seeking Duke series.

After being let down by Neon Gods, I went into book two of the Dark Olympus series with tempered expectations. But color me surprised as I ended up really liking this one! While I might have been expecting a bit more spice and a few more sex scenes than we got, the central romance between Eros and Psyche was incredibly sweet and had me invested!

I will fully admit, it’s been a few months since I read this, as I’m still playing catch up on some reviews, so this might not be as detailed as usual.

Demon From the Dark is book nine in the Immortals After Dark series and kicks off a bit of a dark phase on what has been dubbed in the book community “Torture Island.” I enjoyed this one while reading it as it starts with a bang and continues to take you on a ride filled with adventure, romance, heartache, torture, and so much more.

Did I read the same book as everyone else? Because this book was a big fat NO from me. I know a lot of people love The Love Hypothesis, but everything about it – from the writing to the characters, to the plot and even the romance – did not work for me. If this wasn’t a hyped book, I would have put it down after the first chapter and marked it as Did Not Finish.

I honestly don’t know where to start with this review.

I’m a few days late on this, but hey, better late than never, right? I’ve been spending the last few days down in North Carolina with my family as I was in town for a wedding and to go wedding dress shopping with my sister.

I haven’t had much of a chance to read recently, but luckily I had a fairly good reading month early in March, despite this month being hectic at work. All in all, I ended up reading 8 books this month.

Here’s what I read:
