My name is Danielle and I’m a not-so-former book blogger. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an avid reader but never really had anyone to talk to about the books I read. That passion for reading led me to create Overflowing Shelf back in June of 2010. For four years, I used Overflowing Shelf as an outlet for me to share my thoughts and start discussions with other bibliophiles and became part of an amazing community of bloggers. Unfortunately, life got in the way as I started my career in communications.
In 2021, after a year of the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized how much I missed talking about books and the community it offered. And so I decided to revisit my blog to reconnect with readers in this time of isolation. While my reading tastes may have changed in the last decade, my passion for talking about all things books has not.
