After a very, very long and unexpected hiatus, I have returned back to my blog! Now that is summer (or at least it’s summer for me cause school’s out) I have time to finally get back to something I really enjoy and have been away from for far too long. After a crazy busy junior year at Boston University, and a very crazy last month here for Boston, I’m back now and hoping to rejuvenate this blog with some life.
It is going to take some work and effort to get back in the habit of blogging, but it’s something I’m willing to do. This summer I have a lot of free time outside my internship and work and I am making a promise to myself to use that free time to get back to blogging. I know it is going to be slow going at first, what with having to get back in the habit of doing things, but I must stick with it. So here is to kicking some life back into this blog. Wooo!
It’s a New Year. As always with a New Year you get a new start. I’m not much for coming up with New Year’s resolutions, probably because not much changes year from year, but I did set some blogging resolutions for 2012.
If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been a bit slacking on the blog since around November. The last two months of school were insane and I had little time to devote to anything besides school, sleep, and work. Personal issues have also gotten in the way as well.
My main resolution for 2012 is to blog more. I really love blogging and I’m sad that I’ve fallen so far behind. I have a ton of books that I need to review and I plan on getting on that ASAP. Even during the school I want to balance my school work and personal life so that I can find time to blog. I want to try to have a review a week up on the blog, but I know that might just sometimes be impossible. I will try to read as much as possible, but I have a ton of books for my classes (i’m taking 3 english class, and have 12 books for just one class!) but will try to read for fun as well. I will try to schedule posts in advanced when I have time instead of just putting it off to the last minute. I will be more active on twitter! I virtually abandoned twitter during the school year last year and will try to catch.
I want to be a better blogger and I want to actually have time to blog because I really do enjoy it. Starting tomorrow, I’m going to really start devoting more time to my blog, especially since school starts soon and I want to get ahead. But basically, I just want to BLOG more in 2012.
I just wanted to let everyone know that as I’m approaching finals time blogging will be really sporadic. I am gonna try my best to get reviews up for the books that come out in the beginning of May and I have some scheduled posts for May, but this week and next week blogging will be really sporadic as it’s the last two weeks of classes. But don’t worry, I have things planned, including some giveaways along with reviews, for whenever I find time to actually blog.

I just want to apologize to the winners of my contests and my followers because I’ve been sick the last two weeks, one week with a virus and the next with a flu, so I haven’t been able to make it to the post office yet or really do any sort of blogging. I have reviews half written that I just did not have time to finished because I was sick. And let me tell you, I HATE being sick. It sucks. I missed way too many classes and a test and have fallen behind on blogging. I’m sorry. I plan on catching up next week and the week after that since it’s spring break.
I just want to inform you all I’m doing some blog remodeling this week so at times the blog may look a bit funny, particularly the header because I’m working on a whole new one. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and an extremely happy holidays. I hope everyone has a great time today and gets everything they wanted!!
I just want to apologize in advance for the next two weeks on the blog. The next two weeks are mostly going to be memes, if I have time to actually write them and post them. I have three huge papers all due within days of each other (two on the same the day!) and have to focus on them before I can get some reviews posted. I plan on catching up during Thanksgiving break. I have read some great books recently and I cannot wait to share my thoughts on them once I have time. Sorry for the slightly boring content on the blog for a while.
If I have little to no posts in the following week it is because I am extremely busy and starting college. I’ve been up here since monday doing a community service project which has taken up most of my time. I promise to use any free time to blog! But just wanted to give a heads up of blog silence in the upcoming days.
