And just like that…December and 2021 are over! I’m going to focus this post solely on December as I plan to do a separate post for a 2021 year in review.
December was not the best reading month for me, which I expected as it has my birthday and the holidays, plus I was traveling and spending time with my family and that means less reading time. In December, I managed to read 7 books, which is more than I thought!

Duke Gone Rogue is a charming start to Christy Carlyle’s new Love on Holiday series! The romance between Maddie and Will, the Duke of Ashmore, was sweet with relatively no angst. While lower on the sexy scale, I still found myself really enjoying this one as it was just so stinking cute how much these two characters came to care for each other.

How are we in the last month of 2021?? This year has been a rollercoaster of a ride, but I’m so grateful I’ve been able to get back into the book community! I’ve truly missed it and I feel like I’ve made so many great connections since I relaunched the blog and my Instagram in March.
I’m keeping my TBR pretty small for December as I want to leave room to find some fun holiday romances to read. I need to do some digging for some good holiday romances so if you have some recs, please drop them in the comments!
