No Rest for the Wicked felt like a full-180 from A Hunger Like No Other. Everything about this book was better – from the writing to the plot, to the characters and the romance. I totally understand why people recommend starting the Immortals After Dark series with this book over A Hunger Like No Other as it’s significantly more enjoyable.
October was a bit of a lackluster reading month for me, but I’m hoping I can make up for it in November, especially I’m not traveling for Thanksgiving. I’m also so close to hitting my reading goal for the year so let’s see if we can hit it in November!
I feel like I’ll continue to be a bit of a moody reader this month, but a lot of these books fit with the current reading mood. Here’s what’s on my to be read list:
I’ve been hearing about the Immortals After Dark series for ages and I’ve finally started to dive into this massive series. I went into this book with a lot of background information which definitely shaped my reading experience. This book is definitely problematic and one that people sometimes skip over, but I’m someone who needs to read all the books in the series.
